With over two decades of experience in Learning and Development, Khembe’s heart lies in creating spaces where equity, inclusion, and diversity aren’t just buzzwords, but lived realities.
As the driving force behind Kemcan Training and Consultancy Ltd, she crafts bespoke training experiences that speak directly to the unique challenges and aspirations of her clients. Her rich background in Further Education, including years of leadership and teaching, fuels her belief that education is a powerful tool for fairness and respect.
Her role as Deputy Director at Birmingham Professional Divercity allowed her to champion diverse talent, guiding businesses to see beyond the obvious and truly celebrate what makes each individual shine.
But Khembe’s impact extends well beyond her professional achievements. She is the visionary behind the Return To Your Roots Festival—a vibrant celebration that empowers people of African Caribbean heritage to reconnect with their authenticity and nurture their health and wellness through self-acceptance and self-love. This festival reflects her deep commitment to culture, health, community engagement, and empowerment.
